Legendary
South African cricketers Graeme Pollock and Barry Richards were among
the 55 inaugural inductees to the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, announced
on the 2nd of January 2009.
The ICC Cricket Hall of Fame
recognises the contribution made to the game by cricket’s greatest
players, officials and institutions.
There will be a select group of inductions each year, starting in 2009,
with living members of the Hall of Fame having the chance to help
choose new inductees.
